  • How do I get started with NZ Labour Hire?

    Simply contact your local branch. Once we’ve discussed your staffing needs and you’ve signed our Terms of Trade, we’ll move forward promptly to find the right candidates.

    We provide a wide range of skilled and reliable workers, including civil and construction workers, traffic management personnel, drivers, forklift operators, machine operators, electricians, warehouse staff, and administrators.

  • How quickly can you provide staff?

    We’re known for our quick turnaround—depending on your requirements, we can often have suitable candidates ready within 24 hours.

  • What locations do you operate in?

  • What are your rates?

    Our rates vary depending on the position and specific requirements of the role. Please contact your local office for detailed pricing information tailored to your needs.

  • How does the payment work?

    We pay our workers weekly, so we kindly request clients to pay invoices strictly within 7 days of receiving them.

  • How do you ensure the quality of your candidates?

    Our screening process is designed to ensure every candidate is work-ready and a strong fit for your business. We conduct thorough work history reference checks with previous employers and complete Ministry of Justice background checks on all candidates. Every worker goes through a comprehensive Health and Safety induction, with drug and alcohol screening carried out if required. We also investigate ACC injury history, assess literacy and numeracy skills, provide Site Safe training, and run internal trials to confirm suitability before placement.

  • How is payroll and compliance managed?

    We handle all payroll administration, including PAYE, holiday pay, and sick leave, through one simple weekly invoice, ensuring full compliance and reducing your administrative burden.

  • Can you support large-scale recruitment projects?

    Yes, with 11 locations nationwide and over 40 years of experience, we’re equipped to manage large and complex recruitment campaigns efficiently.

  • Can I hire staff for personal or private use?

    Unfortunately, we operate strictly on a business-to-business basis and only provide staffing solutions to businesses.

  • Where can I find the timesheet?

    You can get a timesheet by contacting our branch staff or downloading the timesheet below.

  • Where do I submit the completed timesheet?

    Please send your completed timesheet to our payroll team at payroll@nzlabourhire.co.nz for processing.
